David Glenn

The founding partner of Glenn Gibson Commercial Real Estate, David Glenn is a highly respected leader in commercial real estate, construction, and development. With more than five decades of experience, David has built a career defined by transformative projects, strategic vision, and a deep commitment to strengthening the communities he serves.  He has played a pivotal role in shaping the growth of the Joplin market.  His efforts have contributed to long-term industrial growth and regional economic development in the SouthWest Missouri area.

In addition to his professional accomplishments, David is widely recognized for his civic leadership and community involvement. He currently serves as President of the Joplin Industrial Development Authority. His past leadership roles include Chairman and board director of Main Street Joplin, director of the Rotary Club of Joplin, Chairman of the Board and Vice President of Education for the Joplin Area Chamber of Commerce, and president of the Joplin Historic Preservation Commission

Luke Gibson

Commercial Real Estate Broker – Partner

Luke Gibson brings over 10 years of experience in the Joplin commercial real estate market. Known for his strong local insight and client-focused approach, Luke plays a key role in delivering strategic brokerage solutions and driving the firm’s continued growth.

Luke is deeply committed to community leadership and civic engagement across the Joplin region. He currently serves as a board member of the Joplin Area Chamber of Commerce, the Developmental Disabilities Resource Board of Jasper County, and is a board member and past president of the Downtown Joplin Alliance, where he has played an active role in advancing downtown development initiatives. Luke’s leadership and impact have been widely recognized, including honors such as Top Participating Member from the Joplin Area Chamber of Commerce, as well as being named to the Joplin Globe’s 20 Under 40 It is through his continued experience coupled with his desire to be an active member of his community that helps Luke serve his clients in the Joplin commercial real estate market at the highest level.

Outside of work, Luke is also an avid golfer and loves getting out and about to test his skills. His main priority and joy in life is spending time with his wife and young daughter.

Tom Christensen

As one of the most experienced members of the Glenn Gibson Commercial Real Estate team, Tom Christensen has spent decades working in the commercial real estate field. His career started in 1978 for retail and office developments at 20th and Connecticut. From there, his expertise has continued to grow from strength to strength.

Tom has amassed a great deal of knowledge during the time since, selling the final lots of his 15-year project, the Wildwood Subdivision, in 1995 before shifting to commercial and residential real estate exclusively in 1999. Although officially retired, he still serves as a commercial consultant for Glenn Gibson Commercial Real Estate, and provides an integral service to the business and its clients as a result.
