The Joplin Industrial Development Authority was created to encourage industrial development to create jobs in Joplin Missouri.
Notice is hereby given that a special meeting of the Board of Directors of The Industrial Development Authority of the City of Joplin, Missouri, will be held at the conference room of the Joplin Area of Commerce, 320 East 4th Street, Joplin, Missouri, on Tuesday, January 11, 2022, commencing at 7:30 a.m., to authorize, approve, consider, and/or act upon the tentative agenda:
Approval of minutes – October 10, 2021, special meeting. Review and approval of Authority financial report. Vote to go into closed session pertaining to leasing, purchase, or sale of real estate where public knowledge of the transaction might adversely affect the legal consideration therefore as set forth in 610.021.2, RSMo, and privileged communications between a public governmental body and its attorneys as set forth in 610.021.1, RSMo. Discussion of Liberty Utilities easement.
